A pop-up series inspired by Filipino flavors and generations of family gatherings
As big fans of good vibes, good company, and good traditions, we are hosting a 4-month pop-up dinner series on the second Monday of every month, starting in September and ending December 2018. Each month we’ll travel to a different decade, grub on family dishes and groove to the top charts of that time.
Our second stop? Bust out your Aqua Net, spandex, and attitude. We’re headed to the '80s.
PRIX FIXE MENU
We're taking popular dishes from the ‘80s for a spin and spicing them up with Filipino flavors.
TROPICAL SEARED SHRIMP COCKTAIL
plump seared shrimp, housemade banana cocktail sauce, grilled lettuce, green mango, and toasted garlic bagoong (shrimp paste)
CURRY SLOPPY JOE LUMPIA
japanese curry remixed into a beef-y sloppy joe filling, perfectly filled in crispy lumpia wrapper
CARAMELIZED CHICKEN CLAY POT PIE
the love child of a chicken pot pie and a caramelized chicken clay pot, this dish has tender seasonal veggies, juicy chicken, caramelized gravy, and bites of potato pastry puffs
jasmine rice seasoned with golden annatto butter
SANSRIVAL COFFEE CAKE
a Filipino dessert made of layers of coffee buttercream and cashew meringue
